About the course

Coyote Creek Golf & RV Resort is Central Alberta's newest championship golf facility located just minutes from Sundre. The Town of Sundre is located 40 kms west of Olds and approximately a one hour drive from Calgary and Red Deer. Coyote Creek will feature a 27 Hole Championship Golf Course with full practice facilities including a driving range, short game chipping area and putting green. The golf course was designed by Browning Horrocks Golf Design based out of Calgary, Alberta. They have designed such courses as Stewart Creek in Canmore, and CopperPoint in Invermere, British Columbia.

Currently there are 18 holes open for play, along with all the practice amenities. The Deer Nine first opened for play in 2005. The second nine holes of this project, named the Coyote Nine, opened in 2008, bringing this championship course to 18 holes of play! The final nine holes of the resort are yet to be constructed.

The golf course has been designed to satisfy golfers of all levels from the beginner to the elite golfer. Coyote Creek accomplished this by incorporating four sets of tee boxes on every hole, wide tree-lined fairways, well placed fairway and greenside bunkers and large undulating greens. The course utilizes its natural terrain to play an integral part in challenging every golfer.
