PENINSULA CLUB, THE

Set in Cornelius, North Carolina, The Peninsula Club is an 18-hole private golf course. The course plays to a par of 72 and 6,352 yards. It carries a course rating of 71.7 and a slope of 127. The course opened in 1990.

On the ground you'll find zoysia grass fairways running to bent grass greens, between 81 and 90 sand bunkers, and water in play. Yardage is marked with 200, 150, 100 yard markers. Carts are required — the course does not permit walking.

This is a private club closed to outside play. Facilities include driving range, pro shop, lessons, power carts, and equipment sales.
